The School Day
|Reception||KS1, Year 1 & 2||KS2, Year 3, 4, 5 & 6|
|12 - 1.15pm||12 - 1.15pm|
Children are able to attend ICT Club from 8.00am onwards.
The playground and building open at 8.40am. Reception children wait in the playground at the front of the school and they are met by their class teacher who takes them into the building. Key stage 1 children and Key stage 2 children go straight to their classrooms.
The teachers see all children safely into the care of parents or other named adults. Only Year 5 and 6 children are allowed to go home unescorted, and collect KS2 siblings, with written permission from their parents. If collecting arrangements are changed please inform the school.
Uncollected children are taken to the after school ICT club and are kept safely until they are collected. There will be a charge for this club. Please inform the school if you will be late collecting your child.
On Friday afternoons at 3pm, parents are invited to the Praise Assembly in All Saints’ Church on the heath. Children will need to be collected from outside the church on the heath at home time.We ask that the children and staff leave first while parents/carers wait then leave by the glass doors. All children will be taken outside to wait on the Heath with their teachers. If not collected, the children will be taken to school to the ICT Club.
If the school has to close due to bad weather or other unforeseen circumstances, for a short duration of time, please see below as to what will happen:
